So I'm currently stranded at the bottom of the giant hill with no way up to the top again.
I click the button to place and nothing happens, even though it's blue. Very very occasionally the beam will turn blue, but it still won't let me place anything. The beam on my manipulator goes red (I assume this means I don't have line of sight to where I need to place the block).Īlmost nowhere I stand on my little "dirt starcase" will let me place the next step up. So I tried to build upwards to meet it and that worked for a while, but now it won't let me place any more blocks (I've checked, I had enough materials and I'm on the right hotkey). It's now too high to jump back up onto the path I half made. Found a very steep hill and started building myself a path downwards, but I got knocked off and fell. Villages and mobs will also spawn in this. Made myself a hut and so on, but ran out of food and had to go looking. By default, a flat/superflat world consists of a layer of bedrock, two layers of dirt, and one layer of grass.
